Brooke Benoit, of Plymouth River School, is in need of our help. Her one-year-old daughter, Harken, was recently diagnosed with Hurler’s Syndrome. This horrible disease causes organ failure, vision loss, hearing loss, delayed mental development, heart failure, lung disease, and a shortened life span. Because of the nature of the disease, and the aggressive fight doctors at Boston Children’s Hospital have waged to care for Harken, Brooke is unable to return to work. To help with medical and household expenses, please generously donate to the Harken’s Helping Hands raffle.
All are welcome to participate, staff as well as Hingham Parents
Please see front offices of each Hingham Public School Building to participate

Christopher’s Inaugural Pumpkin Smash
Halloween marks our 1 year diagnosis Anniversary for Christopher. I have always loved Halloween and now it has such a deeper meaning and I want to use it as an opportunity rather than a bad dream/memory.
I am asking you to participate in the inaugural Mr.Christopher’s Pumpkin Smash, to help “SMASH OUT” MPS!
It’s easy! All you have to do is
1-buy a small sugar pumpkin
2-paint it purple
3-Friday, October 16th video tape you or a family member smashing your purple pumpkin!
4-Give a brief explanation of what you are doing and why.
5-ask everyone on you friend list to do the same to help raise awareness for MPS or to make a small donation in honor of Christopher to the MPS society.
6-ask your friends to ask their friends.
